Pollinators are everything. Without them we just would not survive. Period. They are responsible for helping over 80% of the world’s flowering plants reproduce, which then produce the seeds and fruits we consume. More than half the world’s diet of fats and oils come from these animal-pollinated plants, as well as most grains. They keep all our ecosystems flourishing and diverse, so without them we wouldn’t have anything to look at or eat!
